"Tis the season

Well Christmas is well and truly upon us...it is so easy at this time of the year to get caught up in the whole commercial aspect of Xmas and forget why it is celebrated.
I for one always get sucked into the "silly season"..Go absolutely crazy.. and clean the house from back to front..buy more presents than really needed and stress then if i got "right one" for that particular person!!!And just when i think i have had enough and ready I'm to explode, i will have a moment of clarity........... it's about being with your loved ones..and giving without a thought of receiving.
A time to celebrate and drink,eat and be merry.It's about seeing children's faces on Christmas eve..anticipating Santa ..and the Magic in the air that he brings. And that's when i ponder the true meaning of Christmas..unobserved and delighting in every ones faces lit with joy and love..Talking, joking,laughing and just being in the moment together,to me that's Christmas.

Greetings, Which is better tarot or oracle? As a user of both i sometimes wonder.Tarot purists will extol the virtues of tarot being a purer form of divination.However, for me it's about the connection to cards and the person you are reading.Some people are still scared by the images in the Tarot..like death, the devil and the tower..i can feel them tense up if these cards come up in a spread.It's my job as a reader to explain to clients that although we may be fearful ..change is ever constant..good or not so good..but we learn and grow as we go through our lessons.Some Tarot decks can be confronting in their images and can scare people off..I love tarot decks that are rich in occult symbolism..but that's me!Oracle decks on the other hand are usually more gentle and not as confronting.The Angel Oracle cards (any of them)by Doreen Virtue are very uplifting and have all positive messages.There are hundreds of oracle decks around and like Tarot, it's a personal choice. I just recently acquired The Psychic Tarot oracle deck by John Holland..I love this Deck..It's a combined oracle and tarot deck. The images are fantastic and gives lots of scope for the diviners own interpretation of the cards.
So after all that.. I use both and have amazing readings with both. I believe that any one can use oracle decks for personal use and to give readings.also anyone can do the same for tarot..but there is lots to learn..trust yourself and you can"t go wrong~

Wow~ This is really scary! What to write? Hmm? I guess i would start by saying I am on a spiritual journey seeking enlightenment ~ However, too often i forget my spirituality because life gets in the way! Although, every day i commit myself to look for signs that the spirit world is around me..and every day i receive these blessings , i acknowledge the sign's only to forget the meaning behind the blessing! But I'm trying!
The one thing that always comes back to me is peace comes from love! ~ I'm not saying you have to be in love with someone to feel peace..I believe it starts with loving who you are..warts and all.. I'm 40 years old and just figured that out..sad but true!

I love reading Tarot,Angel and Oracle cards..I would say that over the past few years i have also turned into a collector of decks.My interests are wide and varied..Reading esoteric books,Crystals,Angels,Shamanism,Astrology, Palmistry & Meditation among lots of other things. I believe in doing what ever works for you!
And I'm stepping out of the broom closet..I'm also a eclectic witch :)
